The heat pumps are the most effective way for heating the water in swimming pools.
You can find on the market three ranges of heat pumps for pools.
The basic line has an constant speed compressor inside. This heat pumps can not work at minus temperatures. They are working on Start/Stop principle, which means that after starting they work on full power all the time. After reaching the desired temperature they stop and switch on again when the pool water cools down below the required temperature.
This frequent switching to full power causes faster wearing out of all components of the heat pump.
In the middle line are the “Step inverter” heat pumps. The heat pumps from this range have three working modi – Eco, Standard and Turbo. This allows to adjust the heating power from 20% to 100% according to the heating requirements. The switching between the different modi is manual.
The costs on heating are almost identical to the heat pumps from basic line.
The top line are the heat pumps with “Fullinverter” technology. In this case the compressor speed is controlled by electronics and can run from 20% to 100% of the required power. Their precise automatic system controls the speed of the compressor for better energy savings.
One of the big advantages of the Fullinverter heat pumps is faster heating and maintaining a constant water temperature.
Other advantage of the Fullinverter system is the Soft Start, which protects the components of the heat pump and the electrical wiring.
