The following types of pool cleaning robots are distinguished:
- A robot that cleans only the bottom of the pool
- A robot that cleans the bottom, walls and waterline of the pool
- A robot that changes its direction randomly, but still cleans very well
- A robot in which the shape and size of the pool can be programmed
- A robot with remote control
Robots also differ according to:
- The maximum size of the pool
- The density of the filter built into the robot (e.g. 100 microns)
- The volume of filtered water in 1 hour
Advantages of the pool robot:
- It saves weekly, and sometimes more frequent, cleaning of the bottom of the pool.
- Thanks to the built-in filter in the robot body, the pool filter system is not loaded. After cleaning, the filter is only rinsed.
- The robot helps a lot in disinfecting the water in the pool by spreading the preparations throughout the pool.
