Nature Works Glass Filter Media for Pools is made from only the pure, white glass that is used to make windows. The certified glass contains no residual contaminants, distinguishing it from quartz sand and other glass filter media using green/brown glass from recycled bottles.

Why replace quartz sand with Nature Works glass filter media?

One of the main qualities of Nature Works glass filter media is its long service life – three times longer – than quartz sand.

Another benefit of Nature Works pool filter media is that it prevents the retention of bacteria and the formation of biofilm. This helps to reduce the amount of water maintenance products used in the pool.

As you know, the sand filter of the pool needs periodic backwash, during which the dirt accumulated in it is thrown out of the pool. If the filter is full of quartz sand, backwashing is done at least once a week or more often, depending on the using of the pool.

The Nature Works glass filter media is backwashed once a month, which saves you a lot of water.
