Is it worth investing in Pool expert pools?

I am often asked whether there is a risk that the metal structure of the pools we offer will corrode after a few years.

That is why I decided to describe in a little more detail what kind of anti-corrosion protection the structure has and why we give it a 10-year anti-corrosion guarantee.

The manufacturer of the metal structure, the German company Thyssen Krupp, hardens the structure of the pools using the hot-dip galvanizing method. In this method, the metal is immersed in molten zinc at a temperature of about 450 ° C. The molten zinc penetrates the crystal lattice of the metal and forms a series of zinc layers that prevent atmospheric conditions from affecting the metal. Hot-dip galvanizing is the most efficient method for protecting metals from corrosion.

Other types of protective coatings - electrolytic, varnish - paint, plastic, etc. are not able to provide as good anti-corrosion protection as hot-dip galvanizing. They have more decorative functions than anti-corrosion ones.

An additional polyester layer is applied to the hot-dip galvanized metal structure from the outside and inside. This process is known as the duplex process. Thanks to this additional layer, the zinc is protected from the influence of atmospheric and other processes. Duplex protection significantly increases the life of galvanized metal surfaces.

More information about hot-dip galvanizing can be found on the pages of the Bulgarian Galvanizing Association.
