How to choose a swimming pool from our website?

As you have seen, we offer several models of pools, each having its own peculiarities.

The common feature among all pool models is that their internal lining can only be made of pre-cut liner with thickness 0,60 mm/0,80 mm or of 1,50 mm thick reinforced membrane. We prefer this type of interior lining because its installation and maintenance are easier, and the PVC membrane is elastic and cold resistant, making it particularly suitable for our country where the alternation of winter and summer and the high temperature amplitudes, especially in the mountainous regions , do not reflect well on the glass ceramic coating.

The best and most ordered pools are those with steel walls (metal prefabricated structure). They are available in only three forms: oval, round, and eight - form. Of the three types, the rounds are the easiest to build, because it is only necessary to excavate and cast an armored concrete foundation. The pool can then be assembled, and later around it is made a reverse embankment with earth-cone concrete. The function of this backfill is to protect the walls of the pool from the dampness of the soil, which can be manifested especially when the pool is drained to the middle during its wintering. Round pools can be installed fully sunken, half-sunken or above ground.

Oval pools are the most preferred of the three types of steel wall pool. They can only be dug in the ground. For this purpose, after the excavation and pouring of an reinforced concrete foundation, on the long part of the pool are build two parallel walls, which have different sizes depending on the size of the pool. After the installation of the pool behind the oval, a reverse embankment with ground concrete is made. Oval pools allow on the long side to mount  Roman steps.

Eight-type pools are not so popular, but they also have their charm. They, like round pools, can be installed fully sunken, semi-sunken or above the ground.

The metal as a raw material is produced by the German company ThyssenKrupp, and the pools themselves are produced by the German company Hobby Pool Technologies. The cladding foil is produced by the German company Elbtal Plastics.

Over the years, these pools have proven to be sufficiently durable and easy to maintain.

Their disadvantage is that they are only available in the above-mentioned three shapes and the bottom should be flat without gradients.

The wooden pools impress with their beauty and aesthetics. The wood used to make the wooden pools we offer has been harvested in northern Europe. Typical of these areas is that as a result of the harsh climate, trees grow very slowly, making them much healthier and more resistant to any weather.

To further strengthen the wood, it is impregnated under pressure in an autoclave which corresponds to a class 4 treatment grade.

The wooden pools can be mounted above the ground, can be half-sunken or completely sunken. It can be said that these are the most beautiful pools for installation above the ground.

Before installing the pool it is necessary to cast an armored concrete foundation.

For the oval and rectangular pools in concrete, metal struts are supported to support the wooden structure.

The Styropool swimming pools are very interesting pools because the used styrofoam blocks are used on the one hand for formwork and on the other hand are excellent thermal insulation.

The construction of the Styropool pools takes place in the following way: on the reinforced concrete foundation are placed the styrofoam blocks, which are 1.00 x 0.25 x 0.30 m (long x width x height). They are fitted with horizontal and vertical reinforcement and then filled with concrete. The styrofoam used has a hardness coefficient PS 40.

The inner lining can be made of 0,80 mm prefabricated liner or 1.50 m thick reinforced membrane.

The advantage of the Styropool pools is the easy and fast construction, even on more difficult terrains as well as the good thermal insulation.

Soleo pools are made of metal panels that engage one another. The thickness of the metal panels is 2.5 mm. Thanks to the extremely sturdy steel, the warranty of construction is 25 years.

A great advantage of Soleo pools is the variety of forms available.

Also the bottom can be pyramid, flat, sloping or beach type. There are also variants for internal stairs such as Roman, angular or across the pool width.

The inner lining can be made with a 0.75 mm thick preformed liner or with an 1.50 mm reinforced membrane that is glued in place.

Another advantage of the Soleo pools is that with the metal panels can be built pools with overflow channel  as well as Infinity pools. Considering the labor-intensive and time-consuming construction of a concrete pool with overflow channel, the Soleo pools are a very good alternative due to the shorter execution time and the construction they were offer.
