In the fall of 2024, we built a Soleo pool for our client, whose property is located in the city, and we had to take into account the space available for the future pool. The narrow and long terrain required the construction of a pool with a similar shape.
After several conversations and visits to different pools built by us, the client settled on a Soleo pool. One of the main reasons why the client preferred this pool model was that he wanted to have a shallow area for children. The configuration of the pool is as follows: dimensions 13.00 x 3.50 x 1.40 m. At one end of the pool there is a shallow area or relaxation area with a length of 2.00 m and a depth of 30 cm, after which steps along the entire width of the pool lead down to the deep part.
For the inner lining of the pool, the client chose a reinforced PVC membrane with a thickness of 1.80 mm. from the Motion Grey Rock series of the German manufacturer Elbtal Plastics. The reinforced foil from this series is of high class, with a 3D surface with special anti-slip protection class C.
For the mechanical filtration of contaminants in the pool, we installed a sand filter system with a three-speed filter pump. The advantage of the variable speed pump is the savings in electricity that it achieves. For example, instead of setting the pump to run for 10-12 hours a day, you can let it run constantly at the lowest speed. This way, you will ensure maximum hygiene of the pool water in terms of mechanical contamination with the lowest possible electricity consumption.
To add an element of fun to the pool, the client wanted us to install a counter-current system. The principle of operation is as follows: the system sucks water from the pool and returns it back under pressure and with added air for a greater effect. You can use the strong jet to swim in one place in the pool.
One of our client's wishes was that the pool could be used from early spring to late autumn with always warm water. For this purpose, we installed an air-to-water inverter heat pump, which heats the water and maintains the desired temperature throughout most of the year.
Of particular importance to our client was the choice of a comfortable and easy-to-use pool enclosure. Taking into account the client's desire to use the pool with warm water from early spring to late autumn, we decided to offer a telescopic mobile enclosure from Alukov, Czech Republic. Covers of this type have a number of advantages. They retain the heat of the water and significantly extend the season of use of the pool, especially in combination with a heat pump. The selected cover protects the pool from leaves and other contaminants, as a result of which fewer water maintenance products are used. The cover is locked, which prevents children from falling into the pool. Also, the telescopic pool cover protects pets or wild animals passing around the pool from drowning.
The pool in this form has become a place for relaxation and entertainment for the whole family and their friends.
