Construction of pools Styropool is done in the following way: on the cast concrete foundation are arranged the rough Styropool blocks (rigidity coefficient P 40) in which is placed reinforcement and are filled with concrete.
With its height of 50 cm the styropool - blocks allow the building only of 3 rows instead of the standard 6 rows for pools with 1.50 m depth. This achieves greater static endurance.
In case of pools of this kind it is not necessary to use framework and to cast concrete walls. Also avoid the application of insulation, because this function is performed by PVC – liner with thickness 0.80 mm. Only the bottom has a concrete base. Styropool - blocks allow quick and easy building of a massive pool.
Insulation
Styrofoam is an ideal material for insulation. Most important quality of the styrofoam is its extremely low thermal conductivity. That is why it is used where it is necessary to stop heat loss.
Although about 80% of heat is lost through the pool water surface, it is recommended that the pool walls have good thermal insulation. By Styropool - blocks is achieved very faster warming of the pool water in the season, and also there is a possibility to extend the season until late summer.
Styrofoam is absolutely neutral and does not release poisonous substances when in contact with other materials – neither in water, nor in air or earth. Styrofoam does not fade away, break down or decay with the time.
