Styropool

When we think of Styrofoam, we most often imagine packaging material for fragile materials. Who would have thought that a luxurious and at that time profitable double-insulated pool could be built with Styrofoam? Such are the Styropool pools, manufactured by the German company D&W Pool. The principle of building this type of pool is as follows: Styropool blocks are arranged on a flat and smooth concrete bottom, horizontal and vertical reinforcement is placed in them and filled with concrete. Thanks to the double insulation, the bathing season is significantly extended with a constant pleasant water temperature in the pool.
