There are 3 ways to clean your pool- the manual cleaner, the semi-automatic cleaner and the automatic cleaner (robot).
The manual cleaner consists of telescopic pole, a hose and brush. These 3 parts should be put together and then connect to the skimmer through the plastic underlay. It is necessary to deaerate the hose and then you can begin with the cleaning.
And if the bottom of the pool is very dirty, we recommend the following: you should clear the bottom with other brush first and then stop the filter system to settle the dust and then you clean with the manual cleaner. This method is the faster and easier.
The semi-automatic cleaner connects to the filter system through the skimmer (with a hose). It is governed by the filter system. Its price is between 300 euro and 1000 euro.
The semi-automatic cleaner is very reliable and it cleans very well. The good cleaning of the semi-automatic cleaner depends on the characteristics of the pump. The power of the pump should be minimum 5m3/h to connect the cleaner to it. If the sand filter is dirty or you have not done a backwash for a long time, there is a possibility the pump not to reach the necessary power.
The automatic cleaner or the so called robot works without being connected to the filter system. It has a built in pump which sucks water of the pool, lead it to the filter of the robot and the purified water comes back to the pool.
The robot not only cleans the pool, but also filters the water in it and what is very important it distributes the cleaning compounds in the pool. For example if you put chlorine or algicid, the robot disperses them in the pool.
